I'm Desiree Vuocolo. Founder of Bridgespan Strategy. At my core, I'm a builder and a connector. I am known for bringing people, strategy, and operations together to get work done and to make sure it holds up in the real world.
I built Bridgespan Strategy because I kept seeing the same problem over and over again.
Healthcare organizations don’t struggle with ideas, they struggle with execution. There’s no shortage of strategy, investment, or ambition. But when it comes time to actually operationalize it, things stall. Work gets fragmented, ownership gets unclear, and the results never fully show up.
After my time at Highmark leading provider strategy and deployment, I saw just how common this gap is across healthcare, plans, hospital systems, and digital health organizations alike.
So I built Bridgespan to close it.
This is the work I'm good at: walking into complex, often messy situations, quickly figuring out what actually matters, and getting the right people aligned to move. I don't overcomplicate things. I brings structure, clarity, and a calm, steady approach that helps teams focus and execute.
